FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ALBUQUERQUE, NM, November 10, 2011-New Mexico Philharmonic today announced it is opening single-performance ticket sales tomorrow to accommodate numerous requests from patrons who want to firm up their plans for the holiday season.
Tickets for single performances will now be available through the UNM Ticketing Office and websiteon November 11th instead of on the original date of November 21st.
Subscription sales, which began just a few weeks ago, have to date resulted in 63 percent of former Friday and Saturday subscribers to symphony concerts renewing their selected seat locations for the 2011-12 season. That is considered an excellent response.
This change in date for single concert tickets and the renewals are indications of the high interest in the start of the 2011-12 New Mexico Philharmonic Season, and honors the requests of the large and loyal fan base that defines classical music performance in the Albuquerque area and beyond.

And on Saturday, December 17th, the New Mexico Philharmonic will present a “Holiday Joy” Music Pops Concert with conductor Randal Bass leads the orchestra in his arrangements of classic holiday music.
